Castonguay joins James Brehm & Associates: Andy Castonguay has joined James Brehm & Associates as vice president of strategic intelligence. Based in Oakland, California, Castonguay will contribute to the growing IoT advisory and consulting firm with focus on the vendor ecosystem, expanding the enterprise IoT advisory practice, and providing M&A support for clients. Prior to joining Brehm, Castonguay was the global lead of analyst relations for IBM’s IoT, Supply Chain and GBS IoT groups and held senior research and management roles at Gartner, Machina Research, OMDIA and the Yankee Group.

DeGrasse joins Inside Towers team: Veteran telecom industry editor and journalist Martha DeGrasse (@mardegrasse) has joined Inside Towers (@insidetowers) as a contributing analyst with features appearing twice per month. DeGrasse owns Network Builder Reports, an analytical resource covering a wide range of wireless infrastructure topics. She was formerly the editor of RCR Wireless and her articles frequently appear in Fierce Wireless and Light Reading.

Industry Dive acquires Mobile Payments Today: Industry Dive (@industrydive), a leader in business journalism, has acquired Mobile Payments Today (@MobilePayToday), an information resource focusing on mobile payments projects and technology. The addition of the Mobile Payments Today site, audience, and associated assets to Industry Dive’s growing media portfolio furthers the company’s offerings to a new cross-section of business leaders.

Azevedo joins TechCrunch: Mary Ann Azevedo (@bayareawriter) has joined TechCrunch (@techcrunch) as senior reporter. She was most recently the managing editor of FinLedger and a senior reporter of CrunchBase News. Azevedo is also an established freelance writer and has contributed to Forbes, San Francisco Business Times, Crain’s, The Network, Venture Capital Journal, SpareFoot, and other publications.
