Myers lands at Metrigy, Harrowell joins Omdia and more

Myers joins Metrigy: Diane Myers (@dianemyers) is joining Metrigy (@Metrigy) as principal analyst, where she will cover unified communications and collaboration and digital customer experience. Previously she was an independent consultant and before that was with Omdia (@OmdiaHQ) and IHS Markit, which was acquired by Omdia.

Harrowell joins Omdia’s advanced computing team: Andrew Harrowell has started a new position as principal analyst, advanced computing, at Omdia (@OmdiaHQ). He joined Omdia after 16 years as an independent consultant, and also spent time at Ovum, Politico and STL Partners.

Taubenheim departs MachNation: Joshua Taubenheim (@JoshTaubeNation) has left MachNation (@MachNationIoT), where he was researching and writing on the IoT. MachNation has not revealed who will fill his role.

Heuser joins Politico as global tech editor: Stephen Heuser (@sfheuser) has joined as global technology editor at Politico (@politico).

Mehrotra joins Wired: Dhruv Mehrotra (@dmehro) has joined Wired (@Wired) to continue to use technology to hunt for and tell big stories about law enforcement, privacy, and security.

Russell promoted at Business Insider: Melia Russell (@meliarobin) has been promoted to senior tech correspondent at Business Insider (@businessinsider).

Sternlicht to cover startups, founders at Fortune: Alexandra Sternlicht (@iamsternlicht) has joined Fortune (@fortune) as a reporter covering technology startups and founders.
