Peter D. Lambert, 54, of Venice, Florida died Sunday, July 19, 2009. Peter was born in Cape Cod, Mass. He was highly respected and well known in the cable and telecommunications technology industry for more than 25 years. His most recent venture was as senior editor of Screenplays Magazine, a technical journal for the broadband marketplace. He worked for Calysto full-time from 2003- 2005. He was a man of strong Christian faith, beloved by a circle of family and friends who constantly came to his side from near and during his two year long fight with cancer. Peter was also a very talented musician. His love for his daughter and for music sustained him though his courageous battle – he used that energy remarkably, without concern for self. Peter is survived by daughter Anna Sand Lambert, mother Jeanne Lambert, brother David Lambert, sister Kristi Lambert, nephew Nathan Lambert and niece Lydia Lambert.
