“From Broadcasting to Broader-casting,” is the mantra for the NAB show, an annual event showcasing technology, exhibits, and presentations for professionals in the television, film, and radio industries. The show is hosted by the National Association of Broadcasters who advocate on behalf of America’s free, local radio and television stations and broadcast networks before Congress, the Federal Communications Commission and the courts, helping broadcasters to solve the numerous challenges they face in an effort to deliver content to their listening and viewing audiences.
What is Broader-casting, you ask?

Key Takeaway
At the end of the day, the NAB Show is definitely worth the trip to Las Vegas, as it remains one of the key events for those interested in reaching the broadcast market through speaking, networking and leads, as well as the opportunity to be exposed to new ideas and discuss issues with your peers. And, when more than 1,600 trade and mainstream media cover an event, it can be a great opportunity for media relations if you have a carefully thought out strategy (including social and content) to compete with the noise from a show this size.
