We have been called a “hybrid” agency. Our mission is to build awareness for our clients. Our mantra is “Repurpose. Repurpose. Repurpose.”
Our 2012 white paper on content PR began our mantra of repurposing when it came to PR. Now we do much more than just PR. Content comes first. Leveraging that content through social and traditional PR is part of the repurposing. Analysis of all activities creates a better drumbeat the next time. Quantitative analysis, not just the 1990s way of measuring PR through advertising-equivalency spend.
So I’m backing Calysto’s mission and mantra with the addition of two new industry experts.
After chasing her for several years, we finally “caught” Sue O’Keefe. She has become Calysto’s new Chief Content Officer. With her event planning, podcast-creating and journalism background, I expect her to take our clients to new levels of Repurposing. She will be training our teams and advising our clients on new and relevant ways to repurpose, repurpose, repurpose. (And of course she’ll be helping to write a lot of that content for Calysto and its clients.)
As an “in house analyst,” Charul Vyas will offer Calysto and its clients a new brand of analysis. First, there’s the easy stuff – like testing out messaging and positioning on Charul before it goes to a private or public audience. Next, there’s training on how to deliver that message. Then, and most important, comes the analysis of both the message and the distribution of that message. What PR and marketing vehicles had the greatest effect on sales? How? Why? For what type of message? How do we want to do that the next time? She is developing a new product that Calysto will offer its clients that goes to new levels of measuring (quantitatively) that repurposing and the awareness created.
So yes, they are the Alpha and Omega of Calysto. Two industry veterans who know how to create, message and repurpose your brand as well as measure, monitor and adjust awareness.
