CNET News – Shara Tibken is leaving her role as a reporter covering semiconductors, computer hardware and related technology industries at Dow Jones Newswires to join CNET News as a consumer technology reporter. Casey Newton has also joined CNET as a senior writer covering Google. He was most recently a technology reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle, a position he had held since November 2010. CNET’s site attracts 32 million users per month.
