The Wall Street Journal – Spencer Ante, senior special writer for The Wall Street Journal technology team has left the paper to join a technology start-up. Spencer has been at The WSJ since 2010 where he previously served as the deputy bureau chief, overseeing coverage in the tech sector for three years. Prior to The WSJ, he was at BusinessWeek. The Wall Street Journal has a circulation of 3.6 million readers.
Bloomberg News – Edmund Lee has been named the managing editor for the independent tech news website, Re/code. Kenneth Li, the current managing editor of Re/code has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief. Lee and Li are old college buddies, who also served as best man at each other’s weddings. Edmund left his position at Bloomberg News where he served as a media reporter since September 2011. He has also previously served as a reporter for Advertising Age. Bloomberg News content is syndicated to more than 1,000 media outlets across 60+ countries.
