Senior technology reporter, Deborah Gage accepted a buyout and left the San Francisco Chronicle. Her areas of coverage were green technology, security, privacy, venture capitalists and Silicon Valley start-ups. Deborah now works as a freelancer and will continue to cover business and technology topics for the publications. She joined the newspaper in 2007 after serving as a senior writer for Baseline.
