Current Analysis – Progressive Digital Media Group announced an agreement to acquire the ICT analyst firm Current Analysis for US $19.6 million. The acquisition, which is subject to approval of Current Analysis shareholders, is expected to occur within 30 days and will be funded from Progressive’s existing cash resources. Progressive is headquartered in London, with offices across the UK, U.S., India and Australia. The acquisition augments Progressive’s existing subscription-based information services business and is expected to increase the firm’s footprint in North America. Based on the synergies of the two firms, Current Analysis expects expansion of both the firm’s coverage and analyst teams.
