Attention All Mobile Startup Companies! Compete and Pitch to Silicon Valley’s Top VC’s at GMIC!
G-Startup is the leading global competition for the hottest mobile startups. After five iterations at GMIC Beijing and now the second iteration at GMIC Silicon Valley, G-Startup is the preeminent launch pad connecting viable, innovative mobile startups to partners and investors to grow globally.
Though Japan-based startup Prosbee didn’t win the top prize at G-Startup 2012, they still attracted funding. “GMIC gave me the great opportunity to meet top Silicon valley investors and we got funding of more than $100K because of the event!” shares Reo Kasai, CEO, Prosbee, Japan.
John McBride, CEO of US-based SnapCrowd, another G-Startup 2012 Top 20 startup, found the newly made connections invaluable. “The event put us front and center with companies like UCWeb, SK Telecom and other multinational firms that we never would have been able to start a dialog with.”
In addition to software-based mobile startups, this year G-Startup is especially encouraging applications from connected devices, wearable devices and other hardware startups who use the power of mobile to change the world.
