Brown joins Omdia: Longtime IoT analyst Andrew Brown has left Strategy Analytics to join Omdia (@OmdiaHQ) as IoT Practice Lead.

Menn, Lorenz join The Washington Post: Joseph Menn (@JospehMenn) is joining The Washington Post’s (@WashingtonPost) Tech Team as digital threats reporter to cover hacking and other forms of digital disruption, including surveillance, privacy and disinformation. Joe was previously at Reuters (@Reuters), where for a decade he pursued deep coverage of cybersecurity and mentored a team covering major hacks and cyberwar. Meanwhile, Taylor Lorenz (@TaylorLorenz) is joining The Post as a columnist covering technology and online life.

Bordelon joins Politico: Brendan Bordelon (@brendanbordelon) has joined Politico (@Politico) as a tech policy reporter and author of the “Morning Tech” newsletter.

Nellis returns to The Information: Stephen Nellis (@StephenNellis) has rejoined The Information (@theinformation) after a stint at Reuters (@reuters). He will be covering semiconductors, hardware and related matters.

New cybersecurity editor at Solutions Review: Ben Canner has left Solutions Review (@SolutionsReview). Daniel Hein is the new cybersecurity contact.

Kelly, Legro join Wired: Caitlin Kelly (@caitlin__kelly ) is now features editor at Wired (@Wired), assigning/editing longform features for the print magazine and the website. Meanwhile, Michelle Legro (@michellelegro) has joined Wired as a deputy editor on the features team.
