RCR Wireless News –RCR has undergone major staff changes as of late. We recently reported on the departure of Editor, Tracy Ford. In addition, they have expanded their staff to better cover global mobile and wireless trends on a regional and local level worldwide.
Dan Meyer’s title has changed to from Editor to Editor-in-Chief, covering Carriers & Network. All editorial staff, globally will be reporting to Dan.
Roberta Prescott, has been named Editor in Chief RCR Wireless News Americas. Her areas of coverage include Latin America & Enterprise. Roberta is responsible for Latin America reporting news and analysis and interviewing key stakeholders . She has worked as an IT and telecommunication journalist since March 2005, when she started as a reporter with InformationWeek Brasil magazine and its website IT Web, there she was also responsible for chairing the CIO Summit for the past few years.
Martha Degrasse joined RCR Wireless News as Editor, RCR Wireless Austin Edition and Producer of RCR TV. Previously, she was the Manager of Online Editorial at Hoover’s Online. She has also served as a business writer for CNN and associate producer of Wall Street Report, a Dow Jones, weekly news program.
Vanipriya J. has been named Technology Writer covering Apps Corner, Innovation & India. In addition to writing about mobile innovation and technology, creating spotlight stories about CEOs and hosting events from Chennai, Incia, Vani heads research and development for Arden Operating Company portfolio companies, which include RCR Wireless News, Telecomcareers, and ITjobs.net.
Tejas Patel has been named Editor, covering India & Policy. New Dehli based, Tejas is responsible for covering mobile carriers and policy while leading RCR Wireless News RCR TV efforts in India.
Matt Kapko has transitioned from Features Editor to freelance Contributor of feature reports and articles for the publication.
