INSIDE SALES & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – (REMOTE)

Calysto is a fully remote boutique public relations and marketing communications agency focused on helping companies in the AI, IoT, mobile, wireless and telecom technology markets tell their stories.  We are looking for a part-time Inside Sales & Business Development Manager with some marketing expertise to join our team.

As a Part-Time Inside Sales and Business Development Manager at Calysto you will join an experienced group of Work from Home (WFH) public relations  and marketing professionals.  You will report directly to the CEO and also work closely with our finance department and occasionally with our marketing team to develop the sales materials you need.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prospect new clients, generate leads, cold & warm call as needed
  • Understand the “ideal customer profile” for Calysto
  • Have a working knowledge of business management tools, especially Salesforce and occasionally WordPress
  • Research prospects and create prospect lists for sales outreach in Salesforce
  • Develop Sales & Activity Plans as needed
  • Research new companies in our industries
  • Constantly augment companies and contacts in Salesforce database
  • Track all sales activities in Salesforce and your time in time tracking system
  • Develop and provide reports on all sales activity to CEO weekly
  • Conduct sales outreach via outbound emails and calls to prospective clients daily
  • Review incoming leads and act immediately
  • Review sales and industry newsletters daily, update companies and contacts in Salesforce (not competitive to current clients)
  • Coordinate all calendaring, scheduling, and rescheduling of sales meetings (all to include CEO)
  • Prepare CEO and yourself for sales meetings(s) with research and briefing memo development
  • Participate in sales meeting(s), capture all notes, develop Conference Reports, and capture next steps and act on them
  • Develop and refine Sales Proposals
  • Work with marketing team to develop new sales materials, as needed.
  • Determine and review with CEO follow up content
  • Manage all steps of Buyer’s Journey for each lead
  • Manage and conduct all follow up on prospective leads
  • Prepare for and conduct weekly Sales Meeting with CEO
  • Prepare for and conduct transition of prospect to client team

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-5 years’ business development or sales experience
  • CRM expertise required (Salesforce preferred)
  • Familiarity with PowerPoint to personalize existing presentation for new prospects
  • Ability to track time across different activities
  • Organized and extremely detail oriented
  • Experience working in an agency important
