Yankee Group – Gene Signorini, Senior Vice President and Head of Research plans to leave Yankee Group at the end of this month. Gene was promoted from Vice President, Mobility Research to Senior VP of Research following Gigi Wang’s departure in December 2011. Gene has been with Yankee for more than 12 years, where he was responsible for the firm’s advisory services, data products, research agenda and content delivery strategy. Gene joined Yankee from MCI WorldCom’s wireless resale organization, which was previously Nationwide Cellular Service. During his tenure at MCI WorldCom, he held key roles in operations, project management and business development. Gene will be joining the Strategy Group at Mobiquity, a professional services firm that creates enterprise-class mobile solutions.
