Calysto Names Veteran Journalist to New Chief Content Officer Post

Former Telephony Editor-in-Chief Jason Meyers to Head Agency’s Content Development Efforts to Complement PR

Meyers, who has more than two decades of experience covering the mobile and telecom sectors, will oversee a broad range of content-based initiatives for Calysto’s clients. The appointment is part of Calysto’s new strategy to provide a full array of content development and social media marketing services to its clients to complement traditional PR offerings and equip Calysto’s clients to be their own publishers to showcase their expertise and industry thought leadership.

Meyers has more than 20 years of experience in the content realm, much of it leading the editorial staff of Telephony magazine, which for many years was considered the bible of the telecom industry. He also directed custom content initiatives for companies in the telecom sector and other industries as managing director of Penton Media’s custom media division. Most recently, Meyers oversaw content creation for a broader business audience as the executive editor of Entrepreneur magazine.
