Executive Vice President – Account Lead Role

Calysto Communications is seeking experienced WFH candidates for Executive Vice President roles running client account(s).

Goals of the role:

  • Help grow the agency through increased client and team satisfaction

Overall responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall client relations for assigned account(s)
  • Provide ongoing counsel and strategy recommendations to client and to team
  • Manage the entire 4-step process on each account you sever:
    • Develop monthly client PR and Integrated Communications Plan and provide additional recommendations/ideas to grow current accounts; ensure activities are focused on strategic goals (Step 1)
    • Present Monthly PR Plan and recommendations to client and obtain feedback and approvals for the month’s activities (Step 1)
    • Develop, collaborate with teammates and deliver a Weekly update memo with budget to each client on Mondays (Step 2)
    • Update Plan mid-month if deviations occur (Step 3)
    • Develop Monthly Metrics and Measurement report outlining and analyzing successes
    • Provide Client Approved Budget range to Operations Team
    • Delegate hours and provide “Allocated Hours” to Operations Team and client team
  • Participate in client strategy discussions and other client meetings
  • Participate in weekly Calysto leadership and strategy calls
  • Work with Calysto’s executive leadership team to ensure profitability of client
  • Plan for, attend and lead client kick-off meetings
  • Work with business development to ensure a smooth transition for new clients as well as satisfaction ongoing
  • Develop and provide Conference Reports for all meetings attended
  • Edit and provide value to Client Briefing Memos and coaching for all interviews
  • Review Calysto “In the News” daily and provide relevant articles to client with own analysis
  • Provide daily coverage to client (before they provide it to us!)
  • Read all PR Vibes®, Haro, Profnet from PRN for building media and analyst lists and ongoing industry discussions with client
  • Always be selling. Learn the other services and offerings Calysto has so that you can offer more to the client. Offer more on a monthly basis, via the Brainstorming Meeting or the Optional section of the Monthly Plan.

The ideal candidate is looking for some flexibility in his or her schedule or has their own PR consultancy. Strategic PR and marketing communications leader. We need you to be a strategic thinker who is not afraid to jump in and pitch media if necessary. Will work on one or two accounts doing the activities you excel at.  PR agency experience necessary. Dramatic attention to detail required. Strong multi-tasker with a respect for deadlines and client demands. Relevant client experience necessary.
