Editorial Changes at Wireless Week, IDG, Gizmodo and More

Wireless Week - Diana Goovaerts has been promoted from Associate Editor to Editor and is now the main contact for Wireless Week. Former Editor-in-Chief Andrew Berg now serves as the Editorial Director of Advantage Business Media’s manufacturing group. WirelessWeek.com reaches more than 472,000 unique visitors per month.

IDG - Michael Kan has rejoined the IDG News Service as a reporter based in Los Angeles. His areas of coverage include cybersecurity and IT privacy. Kan was previously a Beijing-based IT industry correspondent for IDG from 2010 – 2015. IDG provides content to sister publications Computerworld, PC World, Macworld and others.

Gizmodo - Christina Warren is joining Gizmodo as senior technology writer. She previously served as a senior technology correspondent at Mashable. She was with the site for more than six years. Also joining Gizmodo is freelancer and comedian Eve Peyser as night editor. She has worked as a freelance technology writer for Cosmopolitan.com since April. Gizmodo has 64,000,000 monthly visitors.

Mashable - Damon Beres has been hired as deputy tech editor for Mashable. Beres will help craft the site’s technology coverage and direct the stories for their Snapchat Discover channel. He was previously tech editor at The Huffington Post. Mashable serves 45,000,000 monthly readers.
