Public Relations for the Telecommunications, Networking and Wireless Industries

 

  • Frost & Sullivan Research – Jon Arnold has left Frost & Sullivan Research. He is planning to start his own consulting firm. Lynda Starr will be replacing Jon on March 7, 2005. Lynda was most recently VP of Carrier Research at Probe. We will update you on her coverage area when she starts at Frost and Sullivan.

 

  • The Yankee Group - JP Gownder is no longer a senior analyst at The Yankee Group. They do have a new analyst in place that has taken over JP’s coverage areas, John Romagnoli. John’s coverage areas including demand for wholesale telecommunications, long haul and local/metro wholesale transport/bandwidth, utility carriers, capacity markets, IP peering and transport, telecommunications regulation, wavelength services, and wholesale infrastructure.

 

David Parks is no longer Senior Analyst, Telecommunications Strategies US at The Yankee Group. He is now at Ciena as senior product marketing manager within the company's Data Networking Group.

 

  • In-Stat Research – Daryl Schoolar is leaving In-Stat Research to pursue other opportunities. We will fill you in when we know what that means and who is replacing him.

 

  • Telecom Policy Report has a new addition to its team, Frank Barbetta. This weekly newsletter is an Access Intelligence newsletter that delivers helpful review and forward-thinking analysis on telecom policy and regulation affecting telcos, cablecos, wireless providers, long distance providers, ISPs, resellers, and information service providers.

 

·         Probe Research is no longer in business. Alan Tumolillo and Victor Schnee are   still doing some custom consulting work for a few old clients. However, they've shut down the company formerly known as Probe Research, and laid off all of their staff.

 

Calysto Communications has moved offices. Starting the month of February we can now be reached at 3500 Peidmont Rd. NE. Suite 335, Atlanta, GA 30305. With all our growing success we have moved to a more spacious office. Calysto’s office number and fax number did not change with the move.
