Light Reading – More than eight years after selling Light Reading to UBM, Stephen Saunders has repurchased the company he co-founded in 2000. He will also reprise his previous role as CEO. Prior to rejoining Light Reading, Stephen was the Managing Director of DeusM, an integrated marketing services unit of UBM. Stephen is also responsible for founding Heavy Reading, Dark Reading and Internet Evolution.
TechCrunch - Eric Eldon has left his role as co-editor. He had been with the site since joining in November 2011. Matthew Panzarino has been promoted to co-editor, alongside Alexia Tsotsis, replacing Eric. He most recently served as senior editor, responsible for breaking news. Additionally, Leena Rao was promoted to managing editor, up from her previous role as senior editor, covering Silicon Valley since February 2012.TechCrunch receives 14.7 million unique visitors per month.
