Light Reading/Heavy Reading – United Business Media has appointed Ray Le Maistre as editor-in-chief at Light Reading. His areas of coverage include: international news, test and measurement, service provider IT (SPIT), including OSS, BSS, SDPs, cloud enablement and optical networking equipment. Ray, formerly the publication's International Managing Editor, will now be responsible for overseeing Light Reading's content strategy and managing an international team of staff and contributors. Ray has been with Light Reading since 2002, is based in the U.K.
