Light Reading has been acquired by Informa for an undisclosed amount. The publishing, events and market research company was founded in 2000, sold to UBM in 2005 and repurchased by its co-founder and CEO Stephen Saunders in 2014. Saunders announced plans to stay with Light Reading for the foreseeable future. The acquisition of Light Reading is the next stage of Informa’s TMT (Technology, Media & Telecom) expansion program.

Mike Dano replaces Sue as Editor-in-Chief of the Telecom Group at Fierce, where he’s held various editorial positions for the past eight years.
