  • Christine Herrera is a Communications and PR professional with more than nine years of experience in the U.S., Latin America, and U.S. Hispanic markets.
  • She has played a key role in helping lead the development and execution of programs that cater specifically to the challenges faced in public relations, media relations, internal communications and social media business for brands across a wide range of industries— including the technology, consumer electronics, financial & payment services, automotive, engineering, media and entertainment, and alcoholic beverages fields.
  • Christine has worked with brands that include Oracle, Skype, Cisco, Pioneer, Dialogic, CommLogik, NovoPayment, MasterCard, Citi, Diageo, Porsche, Discovery Networks, Vepica, Aver USA, Entic USA, Intercomp USA, and Cricket Wireless, among others.
  • Her coverage in numerous publications includes Computerworld, InfoWorld, TyN Magazine, BNAmericas, PC Magazine, The Miami Herald, Prensario TI Latin America, IT Now, Latin Trade, PC World, Latin Business Chronicles, Payment Media, Payments Source and more.
  • Christine executes social media programs to enhance brand awareness, drive engagement and promote brands. She helped Tu Animal Planet acquire more than 15,000 Facebook fans in a period of 3 months by developing creative content and cross promoting in other Discovery Network fanpages.
  • She was formerly Communications Manager of LA&C GDBS (Global Diageo Business Services) at Diageo’s Miami office where she supported the LA&C GDBS Head of Change & Communications while leading the communications agenda for the organization, both within the team and more broadly within the whole business across the region.
  • She has also worked as an in-house Corporate Communications Account Manager for the Latin American region at MasterCard’s Miami office. She supported business and corporate communications efforts and was also responsible for the regional coordination of MasterCard LAC’s Financial Education Program.
  • Christine is a former Account Executive for the Corporate-Technology Practice at a LATAM PR firm. She was in charge of coordinating and guiding nine Public Relations agencies for Oracle in Latin America. She also planned and implemented media strategies for other major clients in the region.
  • Christine holds a Bachelor’s of Advertising degree from the Florida International University. She was also a member of FIU’s Media on Demand Club and the Association of Women in Communications, Florida Chapter.
  • She was born and raised in Venezuela, and fluent in both Spanish and English.
