Calysto Communications To Support Nearly a Dozen Clients at INTERNATIONAL CTIA WIRELESS® 2011

Calysto will continue its long-standing tradition of hosting its exclusive invitation-only networking dinner at CTIA; nearly 30 industry influencers expected to attend

ATLANTA (March 07, 2011) – Calysto Communications, a global public relations and social media marketing firm focused on the communications industry, today announced that Calysto will be supporting nearly a dozen clients at International CTIA WIRELESS® 2011 this month.

Calysto clients that will be attending or exhibiting at the CTIA show include Axis Teknologies, Cycle30, Endstream Communications, Global Wireless Solutions, Globecomm, LSN Mobile, Metrico Wireless, The mGive Foundation, and UIEvolution. These clients cover a wide range of industry segments, from communications service providers, mobile application companies and performance evaluation companies to cloud computing and mobile giving organizations.

Calysto has also taken on a few new, project-based clients in conjunction with CTIA. These companies have hired Calysto to leverage the agency’s strong relationships with industry influencers to help them arrange one-on-one interviews during CTIA and to secure coverage of their announcements both during and after the event.

Calysto has a long history of helping clients achieve a measurable return on investment from industry trade shows. For instance, last year, Calysto secured one million media impressions in the 24 hours surrounding a major trade show when one of its clients introduced a new product in conjunction with the event.

The client received 10 times more traffic from Tier 1 service providers during the show despite lower attendance numbers than the previous year. It also secured a request for proposal (RFP) from a potential large client partially as a result of the buzz Calysto generated for that client at the event.

“At Calysto, our flexible financial model makes it easy for clients to ramp up their public relations and marketing activities surrounding a large industry show such as CTIA. Calysto’s unique business model gives us a deep ‘bench’ of VP-level associates that we can use to support the increased public relations and marketing requirements of our clients surrounding major industry trade shows,” said Laura Borgstede, founder and CEO of Calysto Communications. “It’s just one reason communications industry players turn to Calysto to help them maximize their ROI on PR and marketing – not only during trade shows but also all year round.”

Calysto also continues its tradition this year of hosting its exclusive, invitation-only dinner for industry influencers at CTIA. Nearly 30 industry analysts, media and bloggers will attend the event, which gives them a night to network and relax with their peers – with a guaranteed “no pitching” policy for the evening.

International CTIA WIRELESS 2011 takes place on March 22-24, 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. Tens of thousands of senior mobile executives will attend to discuss the future of the mobile industry and to evaluate the products of more than 1,000 exhibitors occupying approximately 300,000 square feet of exhibit space. More than 1,100 press and analysts are also expected to attend the event.

Calysto will be there not only to support clients but to keep industry players informed of the buzz at the show. Calysto will tweet and blog from the show floor both for Calysto and on behalf of Calysto clients.

After the show, Calysto will provide additional insight into the event via its PR Vibes™ newsletter. PR Vibes™ is a free email newsletter that Calysto distributes to industry players that helps them keep their finger on the pulse of the communications industry. PR Vibes gives the ‘real’ story behind the marketing value of industry trade shows; updates readers on media and analyst moves; and provides insight into industry trends.
