Calysto Communications Recognized for Outstanding PR Campaign in the Stevie® American Business Awards
Calysto wins in the Low Budget, PR Campaign of the Year category for a campaign that cost less than $10,000 and delivered nearly 20 million media impressions in the United States alone
ATLANTA (June 28, 2010) – Calysto Communications, a global public relations and social media marketing firm focused on the broadcasting, mobile and telecommunications industries, won a Stevie Award in the “Communications or PR Campaign of the Year – Low Budget (Under $10,000)” category in the 8th Annual American Business Awards.
The awards were presented during ceremonies at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. The ceremonies were hosted by Cheryl Casone of Fox Business Network and broadcast nationwide on radio by the Business TalkRadio Network.
Stevie Awards were presented in more than 40 categories including Best Overall Company of the Year, Executive of the Year, and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year. More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration. More than 200 executives across the country participated in the judging process to determine the Finalists and Stevie Award winners.
Calysto was recognized for a campaign it managed for one of its clients, Allot Communications. The campaign cost less than $10,000, and Calysto secured nearly 20 million media impressions for Allot in the United States alone, including online coverage in The New York Times and CNNMoney.com. Calysto also secured significant coverage globally, with 34 hits in international publications within just 24 hours after the campaign officially launched.
This is the third year in a row that Calysto has been recognized as an outstanding agency by Stevie Award judges. Last year, Calysto was named a Finalist for “Public Relations Agency of the Year in North America” in The 2009 International Business Awards. In 2008, Calysto’s CEO Laura Borgstede was named a Finalist in the “Best Entrepreneur – Service Businesses - Up to 100 Employees” category in The 5th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business.
“Calysto gives its clients financial flexibility by allowing them to spend their budget on the priorities they outline rather than being locked into paying a set monthly retainer,” said Laura Borgstede, CEO and founder of Calysto Communications. “By combining our results-driven approach with our team’s in-depth knowledge of the broadcasting, mobile and telecommunications industries, Calysto is able to consistently deliver outstanding results for our clients – even those with limited budgets. We’re honored to be recognized by the highly respected Stevie Awards program.”
