- More than 15 years experience in public relations and media relations for the technology industry including start-ups, Fortune 500 companies and many companies in-between the two.
- With agency and contractor experience in wireless, telecommunications and enterprise software, financial software and embedded software.
- Most recently serving as senior media relations specialist at well-established technology PR agency where she provides strategic advisement and implementation of high profile media programs across multiple agency clients. She is recognized within the agency as a go-to media relations person for most media initiatives (from major product launches to show outreach to every day proactive strategy).
- Over the course of the last 5 years she has developed and executed numerous major media programs including work with her team on a 6-month plan for a publicly traded enterprise wireless client focused to build visibility in the business press which resulted in stories in the New York Times, Fortune, Financial Times (video) and numerous other high profile publications.
- She has also worked with numerous multi-national telecommunication and Wireless companies to launch wired and wireless products, initiate corporate awareness in new industry segments and promote significant partnerships and customer wins.
- Last year, she helped a major Telecom organization create International community awareness around a global consortium initiative which garnered attention from major business and telecom publications around the globe including Financial Times, Reuters, CNET, IDG Network, FierceTelecom, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and many more.
- Prior to specializing in media relations, she worked as an Account Supervisor at Ruder Finn and before that a Senior Account Executive at Porter Novelli. At both companies she worked with wireless technology and enterprise software companies and led programs that encompassed product launches, corporate identity awareness campaigns, charitable program outreach, crisis communications and customer relations programs.
- In addition to her work with technology companies, she has provided media relations expertise to clients within the restaurant, hospitality, retirement home, art and agricultural industry. From developing a grass roots campaign to get Confoti Confetti (a company that made pictures into confetti) on The Today Show, to getting a write-up in The New York Times Arts and Leisure section for a local artist presenting sculpture at the New York Arts Show, she has established her presence throughout numerous media sectors over the course of her career.
- In 2011, she helped support a major telecom company campaign to promote a new technology nationally and internationally. It was a task where her team met and exceeded all of the original objectives for their work on the campaign. In fact, so much buzz was created that the company’s product stole the show at last year’s Mobile World Congress. More than 200 positive articles have appeared globally on the technology and prior to MWC, more than 80 unique articles were published. Coverage has appeared in Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, CNBC, CNET and all top telecom trades.
