  • Recent recognition: HP outstanding employee award, created #1 blog at HP, and pioneered social media at HP. Pitched and landed Blockbuster account with Weber Shandwick to manage communications including crisis communications.
  • Significant career achievements:
    • Helping navigate Blockbuster through bankruptcy to successful sale
    • Winning Apple when Steve Jobs came back and successfully launching the iMac
    • Creating the #1 blog at HP over major consumer division blogs such as PC and Printers.
    • Building the Software-As-a-Service Marketing, taking RightNow Technologies public, and to eventual sale to Oracle for $1.5B
    • Securing 4-page article in Time Magazine I pitched on small company mergers
    • Helping lead many organizations into leaders ranking with Gartner and Forrester
  • Took RightNow Technologies public, managed Yahoo! Purchasing Broadcast.com, managed Personify (e-commerce) merging with another small company, managed several acquisitions at HP (including on the team acquiring 3COM), and others.
  • Crisis communications experience:
    • Blockbuster (bankruptcy and selling the company were major issues. I managed all employee/executive/internal/partner communications), HP (product, executive departures, acquisitions/mergers were major issues. I managed all internal/external/executive/customer communications), 2 hospitals (one was UT Southwestern, the other one I can't name due to NDA I signed)(Issues were patient/doctor care, major media outlet hated the hospital and then general crisis planning. I created the plans, but handed them over to someone else to execute.), and RightNow Technologies (shareholder lawsuit, 3rd party lawsuits, product recall and investor relations issues. I managed all internal/external/executive communications).
